Paying homage to some recent volunteers at Bruce PeruThank you to the President of Rotary Club International of Huaraz, whose members help sponsor some of the poorest children who attend the Bruce Peru Children's Centre in Huaraz. Bruce and Ana Tere (founder and President of Bruce Peru), visited Huaraz in late January, in part to thank the Rotary for their support for our programme and our neediest children.
Bruce Peru's latest Center Hauraz operates its first satellite children's centre - 'Shancayan'. Since Huaraz is by far our smallest city, we have thought it enough to bring the children to our centre - but our team have located a very poor community too far for this; and so are opening a satellite. Bravo BP Huaraz!
Garry Campbell
Sharon vies with Garry (both excellent at what they do) to see who will become longest serving director of Bruce Peru Huaraz. Both keep returning: kids and volunteers alike adore them.

Beth & Chris return to Huaraz - Ana Tere & Bruce open New School We had considered our Children's Centre in Hauraz to be one of our two best run centres in Peru. This was due to the three months Chris and Elizabeth Saunders spent directing it. They have moved on.. From Huasraz they went with Bruce and Ana Tere to open our centree in Cusco< where they also directed things until they were running smoothly. They then participated briefly when we opened Lima at the beginning of 2005. Since then they return each year to maintain their friendships and keep up with the children they got into school.
Volunteer Bruce Peru Huaraz This is how we help the very poorest children of Huaraz to become better nourished, clothed, medicated and most importantly: educated.
